JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Lutheran Home/Concord Village employs individuals in a variety of positions. Most of our openings are for Nurses (CNAs, QMAs, LPNs, and RNs), Dietary Aides, and Housekeeping/Laundry Aides. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are many opportunities for volunteering at Lutheran Homes, Inc.  Each year volunteers provide over 46,000 hours of service in the following areas:

  •  Activities - visitation, games, pet visitation

  •  Business Office - filing, computer input

  •  Human Resources and Medical Records - filing

  •  Laundry - folding/sorting clean laundry, clothing give away

  •  Maintenance - recycling, yard work, etc.

  •  Pastoral Care - organist, visitation, reading

  •  Public Relations - copying, filing, mailings, photography, typing

  •  Receptionist Assistant - greet visitors, sort incoming mail

  •  Resident Companion Services

  •  Transportation - drive for medical appointments or activity outings

  •  Wheel Chair Escorts - beauty/barber shop, Chapel services  


LUTHERAN HOME AUXILIARY

The Auxiliary provides volunteer services to further Lutheran Home’s mission and ministry to older people.  They enrich the lives of residents with social activities and participate in fund raising endeavors which support the strategic plan of Lutheran Homes, Inc.  The Auxiliary also operates the Emporium  gifts of love.  

If you would like to meet some very nice people, get involved in a loving ministry, and add meaning  to your life we invite you to become involved as a volunteer and/or join the Auxiliary.

The mission of Volunteer Services is to empower individuals to productive use of their talents, skills, and God-given gifts, to meet resident needs, and to augment staff in providing the highest level of quality health care and residential services.
